Microwave Recipes

Here are some recipes you can try in the microwave with your bean pot! These can also work in a soup tureen or casserole dish.

Pork Chops

Put 4 pork chops (can be right from the freezer), 1 cup of water, and cover in Merlot Sauce (I used the one from Tastefully Simple) into the bean pot.  Microwave for 30 minutes.  **If you do not have merlot sauce, you can also use BBQ sauce.

I don’t know about a wedding cake, but I do use a similar recipe for my son who has allergies to eggs and milk. Any can of cola will work in a pinch. But beware, this type of cake is very crumbly. But they taste great!

Vicki, how much rice for the chicken and rice recipe? Would a cup of broth be an ok substitution for water? Thanks so much!
